Lecture Series „Animate Theologies“ starts in October

The lecture series „animate theologies“ (in german) will be launched in the winter semester 2021/22: In view of the urgent ecological problems, the lecture series would like to take stock of the theologies: Is the project of „animate theologies“ possible or fundamentally doomed to failure? In the respective events of the lecture series, multidisciplinary voices of scholars from different humanities disciplines will be heard: they will shed light on focal points and contextual challenges of an „anthropocentric“ theology.

The lecture series is a cooperation between the chairs of Systematic Theology at the Institutes of Catholic Theology at the Technical University of Dresden (Prof. Dr. Julia Enxing) and the and the Technical University of Dortmund (Dr. Simone Horstmann and Dr. habil. Gregor Taxacher).
